Author Guidelines

Articles are written in Indonesian/English, with one column. Authors must fill in their author profile on the OJS website, which consists of First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name (if the author uses only one name, enter the same name for both First Name and Last Name), Gender, Initials, Username, Password, University/Institution Affiliation, Email, Mailing Address (complete affiliation address: street name, city, province, and postal code), Country, and Bio Statement (Department or Faculty).

Articles must contain a TITLE, ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, METHODOLOGY, THEORETICAL REVIEW, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (OPTIONAL) AND REFERENCES, or authors may use their own subsections similar to those listed above.

TITLE: The title should be clear, informative, and no longer than three lines. Use the font “Times New Roman” with a size of 14pt and bold.

ABSTRACT: An abstract is a summary of an article. It consists of the research objectives, research methods, results and discussion, and conclusions. Implications or recommendations may be added to the abstract. Write in one paragraph of 250–300 words. The abstract should not contain lengthy background information and should not refer to figures, tables, equations, or bibliographic references either within the article or from other articles. The language of the abstract should be clear and concise. The abstract is a self-contained summary in one paragraph.

KEYWORDS: Keywords consist of important/specific words or phrases found mainly in the title and abstract. However, they can also come from the article. There are 5 keywords from one article.

INTRODUCTION: The introduction shows what is already known from previous studies, defines the importance of the research, reviews the literature, and states the research objectives. To understand what is already known from previous research, the introduction should discuss relevant journal articles (with citations) and summarize the current understanding of the problem to demonstrate the novelty of the research.

THEORETICAL STUDY: This section outlines the relevant theories underlying the research topic and provides a review of several relevant previous studies that provide references and a basis for this research. If there are hypotheses, they can be stated implicitly and do not have to be in the form of questions.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: Describe the research design, population/sample, data collection methods, and analysis techniques.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Results present the objective presentation of key research findings without interpretation using text, tables, and figures. Results begin with text, presenting the main findings, and refer to tables and figures. Tables should not be screenshots, specific numerical values, comparisons and contrasts of values, and should consist of at least 2 rows and columns. Figures should be clear (provide the original file as a supplementary file in the article submission) and highlight trends, patterns, and relationships. Results should show how the author ensured the validity and reliability of the data.

The discussion shows how the author interprets the results based on what is already known and explains new insights into the issue after considering the results. The discussion must be connected to the Introduction so that it explains how your research contributes to the body of knowledge and society.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONS: Provide a concise summary of the research findings and suggestions for future research or practical applications.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT: Optionally. The authors must acknowledge any sources of funding that supported the research and may acknowledge the outside reviewers of their drafts.

REFERENCES: References should be recent, preferably from the last five years, and follow the APA 7th Edition citation style, including a minimum of 20 sources with at least 75% being primary sources such as peer-reviewed journal articles or conference proceedings, and should be listed alphabetically, formatted in Times New Roman, 12pt, with 1.5 line spacing according to the specified guidelines.
