The rapid development of digital platforms has transformed the way micro and small enterprises (MSEs) access markets, resources, and business networks. However, digital participation alone does not guarantee business sustainability because enterprises require adaptive capabilities to identify opportunities and respond to environmental changes. This study aims to examine the roles of Digital Platform Ecosystem Participation and Collaborative Capability as drivers of Business Resilience through Opportunity Recognition in micro and small enterprises. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design involving 200 MSE owners or managers who actively utilize digital platforms in their business activities. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that digital platform ecosystem participation and collaborative capability positively contribute to opportunity recognition and business resilience. Furthermore, opportunity recognition plays an important strategic pathway in strengthening business resilience by enabling enterprises to transform digital resources and collaborative networks into adaptive business strategies. The findings highlight that MSE resilience in the digital economy depends not only on technology utilization but also on the ability to recognize opportunities and develop collaborative capabilities. This study provides practical implications for MSEs to optimize digital ecosystems and strengthen strategic capabilities for sustainable business development.
